Who we are
The Bene Gesserit Chaperhouse was formed in July 2006 by Bashar Aggrippa for the purpose of mutual defense of industrial operations. The corporation headquarters is Rens VI Moon 8 - Brutor Tribe Treasury but we also have other offices located in Ejahi, Futzchag, Gelhan, Kehrara, Maspah, Podion, Saatuban, Sahda, Utopia, and Yvelet. The Bene Gesserit Chapterhouse is a member of the Tread Alliance which is one of the Citadel members of Providence. This means that we have ready access to 0.0 including access to all intel channels, docking and POS rights, and use of a jumpbridge network. We also have a lowsec base in the Mamouna constellation of Derelik (lowsec). The principal objective of the corporation is wealth creation through involvement in all aspects of industry and enterprise.
The Bene Gesserit Chaperhouse is a broad church. Whether your interests are primarily industry, PvE, PvP or a mixture of everything we are geared up to support and enrich your playstyle. While our stated objectives are wealth creation through industry we are also here to have fun. To that end we operate in lowsec, wspace and 0.0 not only to take advantage of the more lucrative financial opportunities that are present there, but also for added excitement and for the purpose of keeping our combat pilots trained and motivated.
In short we are an industrial corporation with teeth.
The corporation is largely comprised of older players. Pilots are not permitted to engage in smack or use 'leetspeak'. We have solid US and EU timezone coverage and a reasonable number of Far East and Pacific members.
What we are trying to accomplish
High level objectives:
1. To encourage the development of a community of likeminded corp members who enjoy playing together.
2. To enable the corporation members to achieve whatever they want to in Eve's end game by providing them with a supportive community and a considerable income, in the knowledge that by attracting sufficient numbers of motivated pilots we strengthen both the corporation and the alliance.
3. To grow the corporation in a balanced fashion such that the scale of its industry is matched by the capability of its military to defend those assets.
Short term in game objectives:
1. Keep the Mamouna and Mal constellations secure for our industrial ventures.
2. Develop our industry to the extent that it provides us the assets required to further develop the corporation's capital fleet.
3. Further develop our existing relations with likeminded 0.0 entities for the combined purposes of securing access to better resources and keeping our combat pilots well trained through joint operations.
Long term in game objectives:
1. Acquire soveriegnty.
Recruitment
We are currently seeking new members of all disciplines and of all skill levels.
Newer players will benefit from a supportive and well structured community of highly experienced and helpful pilots. We conduct regular operations including mining, mission running and ratting and combat ops tailored to ensure you can be effective and have fun at any level. With our assistance you will more rapidly scale Eve's steep learning curve and develop faster than your peers.
Older players who are seeking a break from endless POS and blob warfare, or who have just become disillusioned with their current corp will find The Bene Gesserit Chapterhouse to be an ideal corp to chill out and experiment in all kinds of industrial venture or engage in medium scale skirmish warfare. Additionally we are always on the lookout for pilots with FC or management potential and can offer opportunties for advancement that might otherwise be difficult to come by in larger organisations.
The Bene Gesserit Chapterhouse will appeal to the kind of pilot that likes a challenge, is prepared to help out with the corp's activities and engages with the other corp members. Someone who would rather join a corp at the dawn of its ascendancy instead of joining one of the many superblobs as a faceless drone.
The corp's tax rate is 10%.
